How to Fly to Libya from the UK (2026 Guide)

The short answer

No airline flies non-stop between the UK and Libya. Every journey from London, Manchester or elsewhere in the UK connects once — almost always through Istanbul, Tunis or Cairo — with a Libyan carrier such as Buraq Air, Berniq Airways or Medsky Airways flying the final leg into Tripoli (Mitiga), Benghazi (Benina) or Misrata.

The three main routes
